Rhubarb
(Rheum rhaponticum) Rhubarb can be easily grown from seed planted in the spring. Thin the seedlings to 1 foot apart, and in the fall or following spring transplant the most desirable of them in rich garden soil 3 feet apart each way. Fertilize heavily for large stalks.
